More pics from BTD in Muleshoe

Here are some more pics that came from my camera.

One day I left the boys in the livingroom to sleep on the couch. I just sat them side-by-side with nothing around them. When I came back a few minutes later, this is what I found:

Then I checked on them about 30 minutes later, and this is what I found:

I think their aunts had something to do with this : )

Me and Zach

I think this picture is sooo cute! Will was taking a nap this morning and I couldn't help but take a picture of him. He just looked so snuggly and peaceful. (He was using my t-shirt as a blanket.)

Border Town Days!

We just got back from a great weekend in Muleshoe. All of Zach's family was able to be there, and the boys were the stars of the show!

Here are some pics of the weekend. You can really tell that the boys had a rough weekend. Pssshhh!

Gini (Aunt Vigi) and Will

Aunt Terah and Levi. Look at that sweet smile!

Mamanita and Will. She was helping him with his little gas problem. He looks pretty content!

Aunt Shelley and Levi.

Aunt Cori (Aunt Marge, Uncle Steve, Uncle Dwight) and Will. Gettin' some lovin'.

Aunt Sarah (Aunt JoJo, Aunt Rotzie *like Paparazzi because of the picture taking. By the way, she provided all of these pics on this blog.) and Levi

Great Gamama and Will.

Aunt Heather feeding Levi.

Will (in the I'm Hungry shirt) and Levi got to meet their Cousin Braylee! She is 4 weeks old and ADORABLE! Many pictures were taken that afternoon

Landon (Uncle Ted) and Levi taking a nap.

Great Grandaddy and the boys! He loved on them!

Papa Sheets and his boys with Zach and his boys. Three generations.

Me and Levi napping. That was a gooooood nap.

All the girls. Heather, Mamanita, Sarah, Cori, Terah, Shelley, Gini, and me!

Coaching shorts that should be illegal. The guys decided to put these on and parade around Muleshoe. Sick!
Andy, Zach, Landon and Ben.

My favorite two boys. Levi on left and Will on right. I do have to say that this picture is the most alike they have EVER looked to me.

It was such a fun weekend where the boys got spoiled and I got spoiled too! They are already in withdrawls from being held all the time. If you have facebook, you can check out more photos on Sarah's profile. The boys are 11 weeks old, and getting more and more precious everyday!

2 Months Old & Zoo Trip!

The boys went in for their 2 month check up yesterday, and the Dr. said that everything looks great! They have gained a lot of weight which means that they are pretty much caught up with other 2 month olds that weren't born premature.

Here are their stats:

Will
10 lbs. 13 oz., 22 1/2 inches long. 25th percentile

Levi
10 lbs. 10 oz., 22 inches long. 25th percentile

They went to the Abilene Zoo for the first time yesterday. We joined a group of families from our bible class and had a great time........

trying not to smell the stinky buffalo

feeding the giraffe

watching the huge elephant (I guess Will doesn't like the elephants...check out that sad frown!)

and just hanging out with a bunch of cool kids!

On another note, the boys are both pretty sad today because Whitney (Landon's girlfriend) had to go back to Colorado this morning. They both got in a LOT of cuddle time, and they are going to miss her for the next few weeks. I think that Levi knew that she was leaving soon when this picture was taken. He looks pretty sad...

Paging Dr. Sheets

The boys want to follow in the footsteps of their Papa Doc Sheets.

Gotta love Levi's face in this one:

Will was trying to listen to Levi's heartbeat, but Levi decided he would bite him! It didn't turn out very well.

Rock Stars

My boys are pretty much rock stars.

If you can remember, I posted awhile back about a typical night. Here is that post.

9:30 pm- Feed boys
10:30 pm- Finished feeding. Hoping they will go to sleep. They don't.
11:30 pm- Both boys still awake and very hungy already. Feeding starts.
12:30 am- Finished feeding, burping, diapering. Both boys asleep!
3:00 am- Both boys awake and hungry. Feeding starts.
4:00 am- Finished feeding, burping, diapering. Both boys asleep!
6:00 am- Will wakes up to eat. Feed him first, then Levi.
7:00 am- Finished feeding, burping, diapering. Both boys fall asleep again! YAY!
9:15 am- Will wakes up with gas and cuddles with mom for 20 minutes until he gets hungry. Feed Will first, then Levi.
10:00 am- Finished feeding. Both boys wide awake. Mom gets out of bed.

Well, fastforward to last night. Here is how it went.

11:30 pm- Feed boys and go to bed.
6:15 am- Zach's alarm goes off for work and I wake up in a panic because the boys WERE STILL ASLEEP!!!
6:30 am- Feed boys and go back sleep until 9 am (both boys were asleep, too)!

Conclusion: Rock Stars.
Love them.

Snuggles.

Zach and Levi napping. So sweet.

Sleepless Nights?!?!

Thanks to Summer for these adorable shirts. I do have to be honest though...these boys have always slept well at night. In fact, last night they went 5 hours between feedings! I think that there have been other nights where one or the other would have gone longer than 5 hours, but it is always tricky to get both of them to go that long! Way to go guys!!!

Tomorrow the boys will be 8 weeks old. I just weighed Levi on our scale and it said that he is exactly 10 lbs.! I know some people who delivered babies that were 10 lbs.- I can't imagine!!! In fact, I think both of my grandma's were around 12 lbs. at birth. YIKES.

I would weigh Will, but he just fell asleep after a hard battle with gas pains. I am thinking that Will probably weighs a little under 10 lbs.. Why, you might ask? Well, Levi hasn't pooped in almost a week. I have him in diapers that are one size too big...just waiting for the explosion. He doesn't seem to be in any pain. Once he poops, which will hopefully be soon, he will probably weigh the same as Will.

Random picture below. This is cute because usually Will sleeps all curled up with his hands at his side. I had just laid him in the crib so I could go and bathe Levi quickly. When I walked back into their room I found him asleep like this. Stud.

Happy 4th!

We celebrated a great 4th of July complete with a traditional marching of the flags and flag raising ceremony, barbeque lunch, baseball game, cookout for dinner, and fireworks from the roof! The weather was great, and it made for an all-American day with close friends.

The boys are 7 weeks old now, and it keeps getting better everyday! Their little personalities crack me up, and I thought I would take time today to list....

A Few of My Favorite Things!

* Levi's tiny lips that pucker up.
* Mid-morning when both the boys are awake and love to play on the floor with each other.
* When both the boys want to be held by me at the same time. (It still feels good!) **pictured below**
* Will's complete contentment after he eats. His eyes roll back and his arms are limp. So satisfied!
* When their little feet wiggle and move as they nurse, and when they reach and rest their hands up close to my neck as they nurse.
* Snuggle time with mom in the morning. This is around 7am when they won't go back asleep after eating. I end up with Will asleep on my chest and Levi asleep at my side. Sometimes this is annoying, but it is very, very sweet!
* Will's little noises. He makes a wimper sound that reminds me of a puppy. It's much cuter that Levi's grunts that sometimes sound like a goat!
* Will's smile. (We still haven't seen a smile from Levi...he's holding out on us.)
* Levi's 'wide-eyed' faces.
* Will's dark eyes.
* that sweet baby smell
* The way that music calms Levi down instantly, but seems to have no effect on Will. Just another one of the MANY differences between these guys..
* Watching Zach talk to the boys. They will just stare at him for the longest time. They know their daddy!
* Being able to take the boys everywhere with me and not worry about screaming or bad behavior. They are both really good babies.

This list could go on and on...but meal time is quickly approaching.
I saw a onesie at Old Navy that pretty much states how I feel about these guys. It said "I am probably the best baby ever." Seriously....I am one lucky mom.

Here are some more pictures from last week.

Mama's Boys

Will and Levi's friend Ava loves to be the teacher. Here she is reading to Levi. So cute!

Will and Levi love to snuggle!
