Easter 2012

We had a beautiful Easter weekend just hanging out at home and being with family and friends. The bluebonnets are in full bloom (which most of you non-Texans don't realize the full magnitude of bluebonnet pictures....but I love them!), and we got some great family pics thanks to Zach's talented sister, Gini!

After pictures, we did a glow in the dark egg hunt. (Thanks Pinterest!) We just put glow bracelets into plastic eggs and let the kids search for them after dark. So much fun! Then the boys had a blast with the extra glow sticks : ) Serious business.

Easter morning. Trey wore the suit that W & L wore for their first Easter. I love it when Trey gets to wear something that I am still attached to from almost 5 years ago!

Talk about serious business..this girl cracks me up! Peyton had a great time with the egg hunt, but probably only because there was candy involved : )

Levi, Pierson & Will. Best buds having fun together!

Zach and Trey

I didn't get around to baskets this year, so nets it was!

Poor guy just couldn't stay awake for the festivities.

Will was pretty excited about all the candy

Levi's loot.

Cousin time! Peyton won't live around the corner for much longer, so we are soaking up the time we have left with her as our neighbor! (And her parents) : )

The Bloodhounds Are Out to Get Ya!

The boys first ever soccer season started on Saturday. To say that they were excited would be a major understatement. They have been counting down the sleeps for a couple of weeks, and I think their faces will show you how pumped they were to finally be playing 'professional soccer' (as Levi calls it). Their team name is the Bloodhounds, and I think you should be prepared for some cuteness overload.

Will before the game even started. He could not contain his excitement!

I forgot to mention that Zach is one of their coaches. He is great with the kiddos and makes it so much fun for all of them. Here he is giving them the pre-game pep talk.

Levi pre-game.

I thought this was so cute. Zach was giving some pointers and sweet Will put his hand on coach's shoulder : )

Right after Will scored his first goal. I can't look at this and not smile.

A little half-time practice from Levi.

When Levi is really excited he does this shy smile. Makes me melt.

This cracked me up. In the middle of the game, Will ran over to tell Zach something that had happened on the field because he was convinced that Coach/Dad didn't see it. Zach had to tell him that the game was going on and he better get back on the field! Such a 'Will' moment.
Both boys had a great first game. They both got to score a goal or two, but most of all, they had a ball together and with their friends! We are looking forward to a great season with the Bloodhounds! : )

Watch Trey Grow!

5 months old. Giving a thumbs up : )

These were taken by Hannah Vickers as Trey's 6 month pics.

Trey brings such joy and laughter into our daily lives. People comment EVERY DAY on his red hair and bright blue eyes. He smiles at everyone and especially loves anything that his big brothers do. His chunky legs and belly are so squeezable, and he loves to give kisses. The kid eats anything that we give him (unless it's in a bottle) : )
We found out when Trey was almost 6 months old that we are expecting #4! We were so surprised and excited, and Trey will be 13 months older than his little bro/sis. Whew! It's gonna be a crazy, fun ride!

Random iPhone pics

It's been way too long since I've done an update on here. Here's a little insight into our life...From before Christmas up to now...

Before Christmas. Jammie time!

Nothing like brother snuggles.

SUPER TREY! hahahaha...a Christmas gift from my sil for Trey. Check out those thighs! We love this kid!!

Taken on Dec. 30th at 4 months old!

Trey's 4 mo appointment. Weighing in at 16.3 lbs. Happy, healthy, red headed, blue eyed little guy!

Lots of cousin time w Peyton..who loves her some baby Trey! She has an endless supply of kisses : )

Trey had his first bites of rice cereal around 4 1/2 months old. He has been soo interested in our food when we eat, and he ate the cereal like he had been doing it his whole life! I realized I wasn't quite ready for this, so the poor guy hasn't had it since
: )

Back porch swingin' with my red headed burrito.

Beautiful January spring weather meant a trip to the zoo! We had a blast.

Our friends, the Reeses, were back from Thailand on furlough. This is their newest little guy, Dax, who is about a month younger than Trey.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We just got back from our annual pumpkin patch trip! The weather was perfect, but the sun was shining bright. Get ready for some cute squints : )

Peyton Jo (my niece) joined us too. She was having a blast climbing all over the pumpkins, so she didn't want to sit still for pictures (neither did my boys for that matter).

Blue-eyed cutie pie!

Trey did great for a little photo shoot

Peyton's favorite part was the stuffed dog. She kept 'talking' to him and barking at him. So cute!
