Surprise!

We had a great weekend with both the Sheets and Brown families in town! I had been planning a surprise party for Zach for a couple of weeks, and it was a total success!

On Saturday, the boys turned 4 months old! One of the cutest things that has started happening is their 'talking' to one another. They love to face each other and talk and smile. I knew that they were always aware of each other's presence, but now I know that they recognize each other! It is one of the coolest things to experience as parents of twins (or triplets, quads, etc.). They are still super-chill babies which is a huge blessing! Poor Will is in the middle of teething, but hopefully some Ora-Gel and new teething toys will help out in that area. Here are some pics of them from the weekend:

I love this pic of Levi. Don't ya wanna squeeze those cheeks!

Wishing their dad a happy birthday!

Levi on left, Will on right. They are wearing Penn State shirts on College Football Day. Penn State was one of Tyler's favorite teams, and the boys LOVE their long sleeve shirts! (**and yes...they are starting to look A LOT alike**)

My handsome 4 month olds getting ready for church. Levi-left, Will-right

**Be checking back soon for some video of the 'SURPRISE!' part of the party and some footage of Levi's laugh- it's adorable!

You are always the first to post on my blog, and I finally caught you first! We had fun hanging out with ya'll tonight. Always a good time at the Sheets' house! Love the picutures of the boys. They are getting so big so fast. I know I've told you this before, and I will say probably tell you again later, but you can't hear it too much. . . You are such a great mom! I love watching you with your sweet boys. You amaze me with your calm, sweet spirit. Your ability to handle parenting two babies with such a laid back attitude has encouraged me when I start to feel overwhelmed at the thought of two! I just think, okay, what would Kara do?

It was a great surprise party! I'm impressed you pulled it off without Zach finding out. I love the last picture of the boys smiling in their church clothes.

Oh, I'm so glad to have found your blog again! Bernita is one of my 31 Free cousins.. I met you at a Free reunion once I believe. Anyway, I had your blog site before the boys were born and now I just found it from your comment on Kory and Jaymie's blog. Kory is my husband, Clint's BROTHER!! What a small, small world. Anyway, now I have to go and read EVEYRTHING about the CUTE, CUTE twins!! What excitement.

Hi Kara & Zach,

Goodness, it feels strange posting a comment on the blog of a cousin whose wife I've yet to meet. :( That will be a great day for me, Kara, when the Lord brings us together. You are a godly wife and mother; Zach is blessed, as are Will and Levi.

Sydni let me know your blog address; that was awesome of her. You guys are precious, and your babies...? Wow, how sweet. I'm so happy you have a blog! :) I can check in on y'all now and then - heehee.

Zach might be interested to know that Jeremy and I are in Tucson. After six years working with youth while doing secular work to support our family, it wasn't too much of a surprise when, exactly a year ago, Jeremy accepted his first preaching position for a congregation here in Tucson. We're adjusting to the h-e-a-t; well, at least I am. He's used to it, after growing up in Louisiana and being a Marine in the desert for so many years.... Anyway, stop by and see my blog if you'd like. It's mostly just details of everyday life for my sister, sisters-in-law, and Mom & Dad ... blogs are what they are, I guess. ;) www.fourfab.blogspot.com

Our 'little' ones are 8 & 5 now, and we're homeschooling, so needless to say I find great encouragement and motivation every time I think of my Sheets cousins, which is often - especially as we all continue to remember Tyler....

{{{Hugs}}} all around. Take care.

Love, Sunny
