Our Little Jewish Boys

Highland (our church) had a huge event for children called Bible Times Marketplace. They decorated the gym to look like an old marketplace complete with a metal shop, scribe shop, fish shop, carpentry area, palm trees & water well...etc. Zach and our friend Kate were family leaders for a group of kids. They spent all day with the same kids taking them around to each shop and spending time talking about what it was like to live in the time of Jesus. Of course, everyone has to dress up like they are from that time. I woke up late the morning of marketplace and walked into the livingroom to find that Zach had made costumes for the boys! Here are some pics from that fun day with our little Jewish boys. : )

We made a trip to Muleshoe last week to see all the boys aunts, uncles and a set of great grandparents! We had a great time despite a plague of moths that have come through Muleshoe! Seriously, it was crazy. My wonderful mom-in-law took me shopping for some 'transitional' clothing. After having 10 kids, she knows better than anyone that it gets discouraging when you don't have any clothes that fit.

Here are the boys with their great grandaddy Sheets and Mina.

On the way home, the boys got to stop and meet one of their favorite doctors and nurse. This sweet nurse is the one who told me we were having twins! THAT was a fun day!!

Here are some funny pics of the boys. They are 5 weeks old today!

Levi showing off his muscles.

This is what Will looks like after he eats. Drunk on milk!

Levi showing off his chins. I think he is going to be the chunk between the two!

Here is some big news for Will's 5th week. He smiles at us!! I thought this was just gas at first, but now he will smile at you if you look and talk to him. It's pretty much the cutest thing EVER! I didn't think I would be able to catch him in the act, but he wanted to show the blogger world his sweet smile. (His eyes are shut because of the red eye reduction pre-flash. He was wide awake just smiling away at me!)

Kiss those precious boys for me.

Zach called me about sewing. I am afraid I wasn't very encouraging or helpful. He didn't tell me what he was up to. He makes me laugh. Cute smile Will.

I am SO impressed that you have time to update so much. I absolutely love reading your blog and looking at pictures of your precious boys! I remember dressing up like that at church when I was little, but I don't think we had any cute babies in our family/group! I bet those kids loved seeing your boys dressed up!

I love this blog. I love those boys. I love you. And that Zach, well, who wouldn't love a guy that sews costumes for itty bitty baby boys?

I think holding those "little Jewish boys" was the kids' favorite activity of the day. And I love the picture of Will's sweet smile!
