Killed 10 birds with one stone...

**started this post last week....

We just back from a whirlwind weekend trip to the DFW area. It was one of those times where everything was happening on the same weekend, and all of the things were important events that we didn't want to miss! My camera's battery died (of course) halfway through the weekend, so lots of these pics are from Sarah's (Zach's sister) camera.

Sarah flew in from Alaska on Thursday night. We were sad that her hubby, Matt, wasn't able to make it, but it sure was great to spend some time with her! We spent the day Friday hanging out at the hotel, swimming (indoor heated pool..), shopping at the mall next door, and watching Ben & Shelley's basketball games.

Like father, Like son...

When Zach and I first started dating, one of our favorite things to do was watch Landon & Tyler play high school basketball and football. On one of my first weekend trips to Muleshoe, we got to see Ben's team play baseball (he was about 8), and it was about the cutest thing EVER. We were able to see a lot of Gini's basketball games a few years ago (her team got 2nd in state!), and now it's so fun to watch Shelley and Ben play basketball!

Friday night, we drove to Dallas for a going away party for my brother, Adam. He is moving to the Denver area to fulfill a life dream of living in Colorado! I am so excited that he will finally be able to tell people that he lives in Colorado. Soo...Any good churches in the north/west Denver area?

On Saturday morning I FINALLY got to meet my new niece, Arden, at her baby shower. She is just precious, and I loved every minute that I got to hold her.

Saturday afternoon was filled with more basketball games! Both Ben & Shelley's teams won...which is always an added perk!

We ventured to the Garland area on Saturday night to visit my grandpa. It was great to see him again and visit with my aunts, uncles, cousins, parents, brothers, and their families! Wow, it is such a blessing to come from (and be married into) families who truly enjoy spending time together.

I forgot to mention that everyone else in the Sheets family was able to fly/drive to DFW for the weekend! Will & Levi had a dream weekend with their cousin, Baby 'Toltin' (Colton), and we all had a great time just hanging out together! Getting a family of 20 people together (that's just parents and kids and grandkids) is a hard thing to do, so I'm glad we were able to do that! (Minus Matt who we missed big time...)

I am a little obsessed with this guy. Miss you already Colton!

Cousin' Lovin'. Will, Colton & Levi.

This guy (Levi) can get out of any trouble with this smile!

Going on a walk with Papa.

As I was doing the family count, I realized that the number is about to change! Landon & Whitney are going to have a baby!!! We couldn't be more excited, and come September, we are going to be very happy to welcome a new little one into the family! (I think it's a girl : )

In typical 'first trimester fashion', here is Whitney snoozing at one of the basketball games. That girl can sleep anywhere these days...growing a baby is hard work!
