I Wanna Dance With You, Twirl You All Around The Floor...

For Summer's and my birthday, our husbands invited our friends out to Oplin for a night of good ole country dancing. For those who don't know, Oplin is a small (almost non-existent) town that has remodeled an old high school gym to be a country dance hall. You pay a few bucks to get in, but that covers the cost of a potluck style meal at intermission. There is a country band that performs (the band members are all older), and most of the people there are older. It is so precious watching elderly couples dance and smile together. We had such a blast two-steppin' the night away, and I even learned some new line dances!
