First, we went to Dallas to see my parents. Levi got to visit the neighbors with his Pawpaw. Here they are on their walk back home:
While we were in the area, we visited my grandparents. The boys are very unique in that all of their great-grandparents are still living! Amazing! We had a great time hanging out in the country with my grandma & grandpa. My mom has more pictures, so once I get those from her I will post more. Here is Levi/Huck Finn getting some lovin' from his great grandma!
Then we drove back to Abilene. Zach and I both were really tired, so we let Levi take the wheel for a while.
We were home for a couple nights while Zach was out of town. Fortunately, Landon & Whitney live here and are able to help me out big time! Whitney came over to help me get the boys ready for bed. First is bath time....
Then drying off time. Will's got that crazy look in his eyes....
Then there's pajama time! This picture might look a little 'off' to you. It's because Will has a pacifier in his mouth! He has never taken a pacifier before (in his life), but only recently has he picked up on why Levi had such a strange thing in his mouth. We have found Will many times with Levi's pacifier in his mouth. The funny thing is that he doesn't really suck on it; he likes to chew on it. It's just so funny to see Will's face with a pacifier because I have never seen him before with one. Funny kid!
Then there is karate time before bed...
As soon as I saw the above picture, it reminded me of a picture taken when the boys were just one week old! Levi must have picked up on some of my combat moves that I was doing for workouts when the boys were in my tummy.
Before we left for San Antonio, the boys had to play with their new toy. If you remember from last week, Mamanita sent a walk-along toy that both the boys loved. Unfortunately, they didn't want to share it, so we got a surprise on our door this week! Another walk-along!!! This time, they can both participate. One will push while the other rides. It really is one of the funniest things to see. They both laugh and squeal as they are being pushed around!
Zach had some business to do in San Antonio, and this time I went along. Who can resist a trip to San Antonio?! Our hotel was right on the riverwalk, so we were able to enjoy walks along the river, great shopping, yummy food, and of course, the Alamo!
Shelley, Ben & Cori (Zach's siblings) went along to help out with the boys. We all had sooo much fun!
Will has become quite the fish! He loves, loves, loves the water. Here is Ben making Will a little motor boat.
The swimming pool was at the top of the hotel, and it had an awesome view of SA. We had a blast on our mini vacation.
Now we are back at home enjoying the week. We have a busy weekend that is going to include the boys' 1st birthday party. I can't believe it has been a year. Here is what we looked like last year at this time...
