Laughter- The Best Medicine

Sooo....Will decided that mom & dad should get sick after he recovered from his virus. I spent about 36 hours in bed or throwing up. Zach referred to our guest room where I was as the dark, damp, viral dungeon. It was gross.

I started feeling better on Saturday afternoon, but Zach was up most of Friday night with the bug. So far, Levi is the only one who has managed to stay healthy, and I am hoping that it stays that way! Both Will and I almost had to visit the ER. Egh!

We have all recovered now, and our house has been layered with Lysol spray and Chlorox wipes! (You can never be too safe!)

Enough of that!

Here are some funny pictures of things that happened that ended up making me feel much better. They say that laughter is the best medicine...

Here is Will playing in the 'saucer.' He looks cute and innocent doesn't he?

Did you happen to look closely at his feet??? Here, I'll give you a close up...

Yes, that is poo. Zach and I were just going about our business in the living room when Zach noticed that Will was just kickin' away at some yellow stuff in the bottom of the saucer. Then we could smell it. Gotta love it! We had a good laugh at Will because he was just as happy as could be playing in his poo! Oh well...it was nothing that the kitchen faucet spray couldn't handle.

We went up to ACU on Saturday to see something, and when we got there (only a 1 minute drive from our house) this is how we found Will.

...sound asleep but still holding onto that foot.

I can't leave Levi out. Here he is listening very intently to Teacher Ava reading him a book. Too cute!

I'm so sorry your family has been sick. Can't imagine being sick with a baby...much less 2 babies! And I love the picture of Will in the "saucer". We have the same exersaucer...and I promise I have that same disgusting picture of Reese. It was all over her legs...on her feet...up her back. And I was an idiot and picked her up without realizing what had happened. I was completely covered...Gross...

Kara - once again you have successfully cracked me up. I love that you laugh at that stuff. Laughter is good medicine. You know, someday Will's friends are going to get hold of that photo and his life will never be the same. HA! But if I know the Sheets family like I think I know the Sheets family (and I'm talking about you and Zach) he will LOVE it!!! I loved seeing you two and those boys Sunday. Will loves to sing! How dang good is that?
